The DuPont’s Procurement team has a new opening for a Procurement Analyst located in Mexico city, MX. In this role, you will support the search for new suppliers, following compliance guidelines, as well as evaluating the cost, capacity, and quality of suppliers. The role will also involve supporting the strategic purchasing team and internal clients, assisting with their respective needs. This position will also be responsible for managing KPIs and participating in projects to improve the Procurement area's strategy.

Key activities may include:

  • Development, selection and evaluation of suppliers in terms of quality, service, cost and capacity,
  • Participate in the development of Procurement Strategies,
  • Follow-up of contracts, management of situations and solutions for solving operational problems,
  • Search for continuous improvement to achieve KPIs,
  • Negotiate and deliver savings according to business objectives (no strategic suppliers).
  • Calculate and report achievements periodically.
  • Transactional activity within internal systems according to what the position requires (contracts, orders, catalogs).
  • Support to Strategic Buyers, Internal Clients and area leaders.
  • Compliance with Security Programs and Policies required by DuPont.
  • Execution of temporary / permanent tasks not previously contemplated, but that are requested by the area.
  • Compliance with Internal Controls established by the Organization. 
  • Monitoring of product / service requirements of the assigned site according to the time established within the SC.
  • Follow-up of supplier registration requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Foreign trade, International Relations or related field
  • Preferred work experience: Purchasing, Customer Service, Logistics or related field.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Excellent computer skills - especially Excel, PowerPoint and other MS packages with the ability to analyze, manipulate, and parse data quickly and effectively
  • Intermediate English skills required.
