Process Technologist

Knightsbridge Full time
Process Technologist

We are now recruiting for a Process Technologist to join our Production Kitchens team, where you’ll lead the optimisation of our kitchen processes and bring new product concepts to life at scale.

About the Role

As our Process Technologist, you’ll manage and improve process controls across our production kitchens, ensuring products are expertly scaled from concept to launch. Acting as a subject matter expert, you'll work closely with NPD, operations and quality teams to ensure recipes, processes and data integrity are consistently accurate and efficient.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scaling up recipes from development concepts to mass‑production readiness.
  • Providing critical process step information to support HACCP requirements.
  • Building kitchen recipes and ensuring alignment with Qadex specifications.
  • Verifying correct raw materials, quantities and process parameters are used.
  • Reporting on yields, wastage and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.

About You

You will bring hands‑on experience in food manufacturing processes, with a strong ability to influence and collaborate across teams. You thrive in environments where accuracy, communication and process optimisation are key, and you take pride in driving high standards while maintaining composure under pressure. You will also be confident analysing data, contributing to continuous improvement, and championing best practice across the kitchens.

You will bring:

  • Experience managing processes within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills across all levels.
  • The ability to influence and guide teams without direct authority.
