In partnership with the Irish MedTech Association & IBEC our Engineering network within Pfizer Grange Castle we are seeking candidates for a Process Technician Apprenticeship. This is a 2-year program combining part time learning and work placement, leading to attainment of Higher Cert (Level 6) in Bio Process and Chemical Process Technician.
This programme includes both technical and academic content with a key focus on manufacturing. This is an opportunity to join a world class facility who is dedicated to bringing therapies that will significantly improve patients’ lives.
We are looking for an Apprentice Process Technician to join our team, this role will support manufacturing operations by assisting with routine production activities, including equipment preparation, material handling, in‑process checks, basic equipment verification. The role includes supporting sampling activities, preparation of materials or solutions for manufacturing use, stock control, and maintenance of production equipment and tools.
This role is an on the job, off the job learning.
You will be required to attend college for 15 weeks block release at TU Dublin
You will return to Pfizer for 9 months. When onsite in Pfizer Grange Castle, you will work on a Shift Pattern which may include Days & Nights. This will be discussed in advance!
About the Role and Responsibilities:
You will be directly involved in the manufacturing of our products, ensuring that they meet all specifications for safety, potency, and efficacy. You will work within the guidelines of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure conformance with all regulatory requirements and site Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s), while assisting in the improvement of all current processes through our Continuous Improvement Program.
