We are looking for a Process Specialist to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Manufacturing and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution and success of Repair Programs within the Repair & Overhaul business.
  • Responsible for supporting Engineering with implementation of new processes and products; including the use of data to find areas to focus improvement efforts and providing mechanisms to measure success.
  • Lead manufacturing launch of new and revised products included in established company goals.
  • Conduct research, design, and development of all manufacturing processes inclusive of production flow, assembly procedures and production equipment.
  • Develop and test different machinery, tools and equipment for suggested manufacturing methods.
  • Assist Team Leads, Team Members and other resources in achieving the Production Schedule while improving Safety, Quality, and Cost.
  • Initiate and facilitate problem solving groups to resolve issues in order to meet the current and future needs of the company.
  • Lead area problem solving using 8-Step and 5Why Problem Solving methodology to reduce quality issues.
  • Create and promote a safe and inclusive work group.
     

Skills and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minmum of 1 year of related experience, with specific experience in non-standard Repair Programs
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role preferred
  • Experience implementing Production systems; scale up manufacturing, volume production, linear production, using continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methods.
    Computer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs
  •  Resourceful problem solver with proven ability to bring quick resolution to basic production issues with regards to equipment, process, or manpower
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and tact needed to interact with all levels in the plant
  • Organized with good planning and time management skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, capable of self-management with little to no oversight
  • Willingness to adapt to change and learn new technical and computer skills
  • Ability to interpret designs to fixtures and tools preferred
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift
  • Occasionally lift/carry up to 25–50 lbs
  • Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift
  • Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
  • Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation

Salary Ranges:

$73,000.00 - $105,000.00
