Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
Provide technical support to customers and to be a subject matter expert in their specific area of expertise to enhance their processes.
Provide technical clarification of customer requests (URS, RFQs etc.) in cooperation with local sales management.
Support technical and commercial customer meetings / contractual negotiations.
Serve as point of contact for internal and external communication during project execution in their area of automation concept.
Take responsibility for marketing activities that are agreed for products and segments.
Maintain current knowledge of Sartorius products, process trends and accepted practices for biopharmaceutical systems and processes within industry.
Attend pre-sales meetings with sales team to develop customer relationships and understand customer process requirements.
Qualification & Skills:
Academic degree in chemical, biochemical, engineering or computer science
Around 3 years of industry relevant work experience or suitable achievement of expert level education with relevant licenses / certifications.
Understanding of regulatory requirements associated with Automation as it relates to cGMP manufacturing (CFRs etc.)
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical and engineering standards and guidelines, such as: GAMP, BPE, ISPE and ASME
Ability to interpret PFD's, P&ID's and detailed design documents.
Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
