Process Safety Management Coordinator

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at our Troy, OH facility, you will coordinate site‑wide Process Safety Management (PSM) activities and support Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other plant teams in maintaining compliant, safe, and efficient processes.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

Process Safety Leadership

  • Advise site leadership on PSM matters and recommended solutions.

  • Support development of short‑ and long‑term PSM strategies.

  • Review process changes, additions, and construction for compliance with company PSM policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor updates to company PSM policies and communicate or train employees and contractors as needed.

  • Engage directly with regulatory agencies during inspections and PSM interactions.

  • PSM Systems & Compliance

  • Serve as system administrator for Management of Change and incident/corrective‑action tracking software.

  • Ensure incident investigations follow site and corporate requirements.

  • Manage corrective actions from PHAs, audits, and incident investigations.

  • Maintain all PSM documentation, correspondence, and required reporting.

  • Keep ammonia and utilities‑related SOPs and P&IDs current.

  • Planning, Scheduling & Utilities Support

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate site Utilities/Building & Grounds tasks.

  • Improve productivity and quality through effective planning of labor, materials, and equipment access.

  • Ensure work orders contain materials, permits, tools, and accurate status progression.

  • Manage records supporting analysis of utilities equipment reliability.

  • Identify, reserve, kit, and stage stock and non‑stock materials and tools for maintenance work.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • 5+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119.

  • 3+ years experience working in a PSM‑covered process preferred.

  • 3+ years experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.

  • Completion of industrial ammonia operator Level 1 course preferred.

  • Experience with CMMS and ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and technical reasoning.

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and evolving process‑safety technologies.

  • Resourceful, well‑organized, action‑oriented, collaborative approach.

  • Relocation assistance is available for this position. Preference will be given to local candidates.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
