Process Safety Management Coordinator

Reporting to the Engineering Manager in Fayetteville, AR, you will maintain and strengthen the Process Safety Management Program for ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational safety, and meaningful collaboration across teams. You will support a culture of safety, partnership, and continuous improvement while serving as a trusted resource for both plant leadership and refrigeration technicians.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and implement the Process Safety Management Program for ammonia refrigeration systems in alignment with OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Program regulations.
  • Manage, update, and retain all Process Safety Management and Risk Management Program documentation while overseeing Management of Change processes.
  • Coordinate on‑the‑job and on‑the‑job evaluation training for refrigeration technicians, ensuring accurate records and timely refresher training.
  • Review and certify standard operating procedures annually with operators, ensuring all repairs and installations meet engineering and safety standards.
  • Schedule monthly Process Safety Management meetings, update the Process Safety Management Scorecard, and develop action plans to close identified gaps.
  • Support internal and external audits, lead corrective action planning, and provide progress updates to plant leadership.
  • Communicate Process Safety Management and Environmental Health and Safety policies, lead incident investigations, and report environmental incidents to corporate teams and regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in daily refrigeration operations, monitor preventive maintenance activities, and ensure work is documented with accuracy.
  • Partner closely with operators, safety, and engineering teams to evaluate risks and document system changes.
  • Support engineering manager on various projects.
  • Assist with capital projects as needed

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Program regulations.
  • Experience with SAP‑PM or another computerized maintenance management system.
  • Minimum of 2 years of process safety management experience.
  • Willingness to work alternate shifts, holidays, and weekends when needed.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and mechanical integrity programs.
  • RETA CARO certification preferred.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
