Process Reliability Engineer
Description -
We are seeking a Process Reliability Engineer to enhance visibility and understanding of our ink‑manufacturing processes. You will develop improved monitoring capabilities—using sensors, system data, and meaningful KPIs—to enable accurate root‑cause identification and data‑based decisions. In addition to reliability investigations, you will lead process‑engineering projects that strengthen robustness, support scale‑up of new materials and technologies, and contribute to long‑term improvements across the plant.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop monitoring capabilities using new sensors, in‑line measurements, and system data to improve process visibility and early detection.
- Build KPIs and analysis tools that enable accurate root‑cause identification and data‑driven decisions.
- Lead reliability investigations for recurring deviations, instabilities, and utilization‑loss events.
- Implement new technologies, detection methods, and process/mechanical solutions that enhance monitoring and strengthen process performance.
- Lead process‑engineering projects to improve robustness, throughput, and production‑technology maturity.
- Support scale‑up and introduction of new materials, specifications, and technologies into stable production flows.
- Drive qualification and monitoring plans during key transitions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Quality on issues related to equipment behavior, sensing, and control logic.
- Prepare clear documentation (control plans, troubleshooting guides, stability reports).
- Train operators and engineering teams on monitoring tools, data‑driven methods, and updated control practices.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Process Engineering; M.Sc. is an advantage.
- ~3 years of experience as a Process, NPI, or Reliability Engineer in a multidisciplinary manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills; experience with structured problem‑solving tools (RCA, DOE, SPC, capability, FMEA).
- Hands‑on, proactive approach with strong ownership and independent task execution.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering, operations, and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel and drive long‑term improvements.
