MEE Operation:
- Plant operation & record maintained.
- Time-to-time effluent sampling and testing (COD, TOC, TS, TDS, Sp. Gravity etc.) for smooth operation of the plant.
- Co-ordinating with maintenance department for routine troubleshooting.
- Ensure good housekeeping in plant.
- Transferring of solid waste to solid waste storage shed and packing for disposal to BEIL.
WWTP Operation:
- Plant operation & record maintained.
- Time-to-time effluent sampling and testing (COD, TOC, TS, TDS, MLSS, SSV, NO2, NO3, Chloride, Ammonical Nitrogen, Phosphate content, Copper content, Colour etc.) for smooth operation of the plant.
- Co-ordinating with maintenance department for routine troubleshooting.
- Ensure good housekeeping in plant.
- Contacting and organizing for contract employees for routine cleaning of Filter Press.
- Transferring of solid waste to solid waste storage shed and packing for disposal to BEIL.
WWTP Laboratory Operation:
- Preparation and cleaning of lab wares / instruments to ensure smooth functioning of Lab.
- To provide required support to third party and internal person working in lab.
- To perform zero / blank tests and ensure proper calibration of the instruments.
- Packing and labelling of sample for sending for third party testing.
- Maintenance of lab equipment for proper functioning.
Solid Waste Operation & Disposal:
- Ensure proper segregation and storage of waste according to its categories.
- To monitor solid waste quantity for its timely disposal.
- Co-ordinate with transporter for disposal of solid waste.
- Preparation of disposal documents and maintaining its records.
- Housekeeping of solid waste storage shed & truck loading areas.
- To conduct job safety briefing for truck driver and forklift driver before truck loading.
Others:
- To provide required support in office / documentation filing work.
- To update analysis and monitoring data in online system.
- Document submission or post at various government authorities as and when required.
- Maintain good housekeeping in solid waste storage shed.
- To handle and segregate all waste in appropriate place as mentioned in the procedure.
- Coordinate with BEIL and arrange for solid waste transportation for treatment and disposal.
- Preparation of monthly report of effluent discharge quantity and quality.
- To refer and follow all department procedure and work instruction for EHS & WWTP / MEE Plant operation.
- Responsible for workman activity like Filter Press cleaning and waste handling as and when required.
EHS / RCMS Responsibility:
- Maintain discipline and coordination with EHS manager and other colleagues.
- Ensure proper functioning of all installed safety equipment at WWTP / MEE / WWTP Lab.
- Adherence to all EHS & RC rules and company guidelines in EHS, RCMS and WWTP.
- To participate actively in departmental safety meeting and give job safety briefing and short talks to contract workers.
- To update accident, incident board & GPCB board at security main gate.
