What’s the role
The Process Operator will be responsible for packaging bulk materials into vessels (Totes, Drums, Pails, Jugs, and Tubes), and the receipt of raw materials and preparation of finished products for shipment to include the loading & offloading of trucks, railcars, totes & drums.
What you’ll be doing
Manage the loading & offloading process of trucks and rail cars ensuring delivery of the proper products and volumes ordered
Prepare proper hose connections to facilitate receipt of raw materials from bulk trucks and rail cars
Verify that the receiving vessel can accommodate the volume of raw materials or finished products being transferred
Manipulate drummed and packaged materials both manually and with powered industrial equipment as required
Acquire samples of bulk and packaged raw materials and finished products as required
Perform work functions around large batch bulk blending processes, using raw material blending recipes to produce bulk finished products around our 3 main chemistries
Perform Packing Production processes involving Totes, Drums, 20L pails, 5L, 1L bottles, & 1LB tubes
Acquire a visual level and temperature reading of tanks daily along with manual, tape gauges performed monthly
Perform computer related tasks necessary to ensure that a quality product is delivered to the customer on time and in the quantity ordered along with any necessary paperwork
Perform all work functions in such a manner that supports Corporate and FWL Health, Safety, Security and Environmental objectives
Actively contribute toward a clean and orderly workplace by adhering to routine cleaning schedules
Follow HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environmental) guidelines in all activities/tasks
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
Relevant post-secondary education preferred
Relevant work experience in a similar industry is preferred
Strong computer literacy skills
Basic knowledge in SAP is an asset
Demonstrates a willingness to continuously learn and improve skills
Ability to juggle several conflicting priorities without compromising safety or quality
Ability to learn, execute, and eventually write and follow procedures as required
Must possess a valid driver's license
Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule
Ability to serve as a member of an emergency response team
Ability to use safe lifting techniques, able to lift and carry 20 kg from ground to waist level
Ability to work safely wearing a respirator or Self-contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
Willingness to comply with Shell's drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures
Willingness to submit all medical assessment of your fitness for duty, background check, driving record check and Pre-Site Access testing for alcohol and specified drugs

What we offer
The rate for this position is $27.07/hr. - $35.47/hr. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
