Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of the plant annual budget.Create and update product costs.
- Conduct analysis and give recommendations based on data collection through reports, observations, and time studies.
- Work with Plant / Department Manager(s) to improve manufacturing processes through efficiency improvements, safety, and quality.
- Assist with cost improvement efforts and savings calculations.
- Provide analysis to support financially impactful decisions.
- Serve as a resource to enhance business acumen within the plant.
- Serve as Plant Data Champion by creating, revamping, and maintaining useful tools in Splunk, Office Scripts, and Power Automate.
- Understand navigation of USF2 system to adjust BOMs, materials, and orders.
- Support inventory accuracy through identifying areas of opportunity.
- Assist Black Belts and Green Belts on current and past projects. Serve on Green Belt/Black Belt teams as a member or in an advisory capacity.
- Serve as the Waste Champion for the plant.
- Manage plant process improvement program (CITI Program).
- Assist in the development of other process improvement tools and initiatives.
- Serve on various committees.
- Assist in the developmental and learning process of Co-ops and OMTs.
- Perform other duties as directed by the IE Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred)
- Software knowledge in: Excel, Word, Windows, Power Point and other Microsoft tools and computer programs
- Capability to learn data tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Scripts, Power Automate and Minitab
- Continuous Improvement mindset
- Must demonstrate leadership qualities, including interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must accept work assignments that could require additional training
- Must be able to travel to other plants and companies for training purposes
- Must be able to work by written or oral instructions
- Must be able to keep company information on equipment/material confidential
- Ability to manage own time effectively
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and analyze data
- Green Belt/ Black Belt Training or willingness to complete
- C.I. Champion Training or willingness to complete
