Job Description

Set up, adjust, and operates machine tools for multiple types of machine shop equipment. Work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. May communicate directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly. Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances. May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions. You will report to ME ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR.The team is located in Katowice. On-Site mode.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide technological support for the production line,
  • Responsibility for Goals related to DT processing (time to assign),
  • Guidance and improvement of production processes,
  • Implement engineering changes,
  • Develop process documentation,
  • Conduct training for equipment operators,
  • Develop material and time standards and their administration in SAP,
  • Participation in machine and equipment acceptance tests,
  • Participation in projects led by process engineers,
  • Develop and implement cost-saving projects based on a suggestion system.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Minimum secondary education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field;
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar position in production engineering or maintenance;
  • Read technical and electrical drawings;
  • Analytical and creative approach to problem-solving demonstrated through examples;
  • Good organization of own work and the ability to work independently;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Conscientiousness and consistency in completing tasks;

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Knowledge of Lean tools;
  • Higher education with a technical profile;
  • SEP Certification;
  • Knowledge of English;
