Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara North , Campus.

Reporting to the Operations Director, Process Engineering Manager responsible for leading process engineering strategy, execution, and continuous improvement for high-volume manufacturing of AI racks for data center applications. This role ensures robust process capability, scalability, and operational readiness to support aggressive production ramps, while maintaining best-in-class quality, safety, and cost performance

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead and develop a team of Process Engineers and Technicians.
  • Design, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for high-volume mechanical assemblies.
  • Ensure installed capacity meets demand requirements and is scalable for future growth.
  • Drive capacity modeling, line design, and production ramp strategies.
  • Improve yield, throughput, and process capability across operations.
  • Implement and sustain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) ensuring process readiness and scalability.
  • Drive cost reduction, productivity improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure strong adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work, and best practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Test, Product, IE, Operations, Quality).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Extensive experience in high-volume mechanical assembly manufacturing.
  • Proven capability in:
    • Manufacturing flow design and optimization
    • Line layout and scalable production system design
    • Bottleneck identification and throughput optimization
  • Strong experience in:
    • Installed capacity definition, validation, and risk assessment
    • Capacity modeling aligned to demand scenarios (ramp-up, steady state, surge)
    • Scalable line design (modular capacity, replication strategy, automation readiness)
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies
    • Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
    • SPC (Statistical Process Control)
    • Process capability metrics (Cp, Cpk)
  • Strong execution of:
    • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
    • 8D problem solving
  • Preferably experienced in:
    • Rack manufacturing / electro-mechanical assemblies
    • Data center hardware or similar high-complexity products
  • Understanding of:
    • Mechanical integration and assembly tolerances
    • Quality expectations for critical infrastructure equipment
  • Experience managing:
    • High-volume, physically demanding production environments
    • Aggressive ramp timelines and production scaling
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Productivity KPIs (UPH, OEE, cycle time, takt time)
    • Cost drivers and operational efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Industrial safety practices integrated into process design and execution
    • Risk assessment and mitigation in manufacturing environments
  • Experience with:
    • Waste management systems and reduction strategies
    • Sustainable manufacturing practices
  • Proven ability to embed a proactive safety culture into daily operations and engineering decisions
  • English proficiency: 90%+ (required)
    (Effective communication with global teams and leadership)
  • Strong leadership with proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (technical and executive level).
  • High influence across cross-functional teams.
