How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As a Process Engineer joining our expanding Victorian Water Team, you will be part of a highly skilled group committed to delivering resilient and sustainable water infrastructure. You’ll contribute to complex, city‑shaping projects including treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations and broader water infrastructure initiatives.

  • Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), reports, design documents and technical specifications.
  • Produce written reports and presentations to communicate engineering concepts clearly.
  • Contribute to strategic and conceptual planning investigations that identify innovative and sustainable solutions to support resource recovery in a circular economy
  • Apply emerging technologies and innovative approaches to optimise efficiency and sustainability.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to build positive working relationships and support business development and tender activities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
  • Working toward Chartered status with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in a consulting environment with a passion for water and wastewater treatment and sustainable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of process engineering calculations, PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Understanding of physical, chemical and biological water treatment methods.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Previous plant commissioning experience is advantageous.
