Process Engineer Technician

Job Description:

Purpose

The main focus for the role will be to support production with continuous improvements, problem solving and work close to manufacturing & quality & equipment teams. The role work in a team together with other techicians and engineers where team spirit is crucial. The purpose is to optimize the production in terms of Quality, EHS and capacity. The work is done together with the production where daily management is a key event. The role shall manage the ECO process and perform qualification and validation activities in smaller scale.

The role will also be part of different project initiatives as a project resource.

Accountabilities:

  • Work as support towards the production close to Gemba i.e. Communicate with production personnel and other supporting functions
  • Drive problem solving in small and big scale in all areas of production in Yorba Linda
  • Work as a local, global and project member for new processes and optimize existing processes.
  • Learning and using Envistas toolbox for processes, improvements and problem solving.
  • Support in generate technical documentation and reports.
  • Provide disposition on routine nonconforming products and deviating processes
  • Communicate observed nonconformances with maintenance team
  • Execute problem-solving and root cause analysis to drive countermeasures
  • Support development and implementation of qualification and validation activities

Job Requirements:

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)

  • High school diploma required (college, technical or trade school preferred)
  • Associates Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent gained through experience.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (medical devices)
  • Fluent in English, written and oral
  • Knowledge of GMP and lean manufacturing
  • Knowledge of SAP software or a similar document management system is a plus

  • Team player but shall be able to work independently as well.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$26.30 - $38.80 per hour
