Process Engineer (Med Device)

The process engineering consultant will attend meetings virtually and onsite to support engineering teams to provide process engineering guidance, review materials provided by the client, and draft documentation to support quality and process deliverables. This may include drafting study plans, protocols and reports to support their FDA 510(k) submission for their First Mixed Flow Axial ECMO Platform. This may also include generating product technical specifications, supporting testing of the device, performing qualifications, defining manufacturing layout for optimal process performance and provide overall guidance.

Engagement Details

  • Role: Process Engineer (hybrid - virtual and remote w/travel to Northern California site)
  • Primary Task: Technical knowledge transfer and 510(k) readiness.
  • Duration: 2-3 months.
  • Capacity: 40-50 hours per month. 
  • Therapeutic Area: Respiratory Disease
