Process Documentation Intern

The primary purpose of this position is to gain practical work experience updating and maintaining batch records in Optiva. This position will uphold the Hydrite “Standards of Excellence” through continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external.

This role is fully on-site in VIsalia, CA during the summer of 2026.

  • As Process Documentation Intern, primary responsibilities include:
  • Update and maintain batch records in Optiva according to current manufacturing processes.
  • Review process documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to ensure process changes are captured correctly.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process documentation improvements.
  • Write Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Support ongoing documentation and regulatory compliance projects as assigned.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • This person reports to the Manufacturing Manager. 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA

  • Enrollment in an accredited university in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree is required.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
