Join our innovative Computer Vision (Automated Visual Inspection – AVI) team and help shape the future of advanced manufacturing! We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to support process optimization and new product development for next-generation MEMS devices. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and love solving complex challenges, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the technical owner of manufacturing processes.

  • Develop and optimize unit processes for next-gen MEMS product development.

  • Build and maintain production database programs.

  • Integrate and troubleshoot processes as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve yield, and enhance process margins.

  • Apply best-known computer vision methods during early development phases.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Investigate and resolve non-conformance events.

  • Qualify new and existing equipment for optimal performance.

  • Facilitate smooth process transfers from development to manufacturing.

  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and supervisors to resolve issues and implement new technologies.

  • Promote efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability across operations.

What We’re Looking For

Education: 2-Year Diploma (or higher) in Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of computer vision operations (morphology, edge detection, filtering).

  • Experience with computer vision software (OpenCV or similar).

  • Understanding of optics and camera systems.

  • Ability to read equipment schematics and troubleshoot hardware.

  • Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, C#, and SQL (asset).

  • Experience with MVTec Halcon software (asset).

Additional Skills:

  • Basic statistical analysis and process control (JMP experience beneficial).

  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments.

  • Commitment to 5S+1 workplace organization principles.
