The Role and Impact
As a Module Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the manufacturing processes that drive Intel's cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for owning and optimizing high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes essential to device miniaturization and the mass production of integrated circuits. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence Intel's technological capabilities and operational excellence, contributing to the company's mission of delivering world-class semiconductor products. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring process line efficiency, defectivity control, and dimensional accuracy, helping Intel maintain its leadership in innovation and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage critical manufacturing equipment and processes, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Recommend and implement modifications to equipment and processes to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement programs aimed at safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield.
- Facilitate the transfer of process technologies to other manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Develop and optimize excursion prevention systems for equipment and processes.
- Detect and address discrepant material or activities to minimize production disruptions.
- Manage equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps, ensuring timely and safe completion of projects.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to address issues and develop innovative solutions that meet evolving production demands.
- Support process development initiatives aligned with high-volume manufacturing and Intel Foundry Services.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Proficiency in manufacturing process improvement and optimization techniques, including Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Experience with tool installation, qualification, and process development (NPI) for semiconductor equipment.
- Strong expertise in equipment adjustment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and related equipment.

- Demonstrates strong communication and leadership abilities, including managing teams and influencing stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in process optimization, problem-solving, and driving strategic initiatives.
- Familiarity with excursion prevention systems and process characterization strategies.
