As a Nursing Operations Manager, you will support the growth, development and advancement of nurses through their career, allowing you to make a difference in the lives of both patients and caregivers at a leadership level.
A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Identify and ensure appropriate placement, facilitation and expedition of all patient flow transactions, including direct and emergency patient admissions and transfers.
Address significant patient issues and staffing needs throughout the house and make modifications to ensure equitable staffing arrangements throughout the hospital.
Communicate changes with relevant leaders.
Manage the patient experience trans-organizationally to optimize all resources to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Three years of experience in an acute care setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
One year of management experience
Critical Care/emergency room experience
