Your key responsibilities:
The Relationship Manager (Account Management) plays a critical supporting role within the External Asset Manager (EAM) team, acting as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day client engagement, account management and lifecycle administration.
This role covers core Relationship Manager responsibilities such as EAM relationship management and development, new End Client account acquisition and opening, as well as AML/KYC oversight. The focus of the role will be to ensure sustainable client satisfaction and risk management through high‑quality support of our EAM partners and their End Clients. Origination efforts are expected to be more limited, and more focused on the organic growth of an existing book of EAM relationships through excellent client service and operational effectiveness.
Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for EAMs (External Asset Manager) and support strong, long‑term relationship management.
Handle client queries, escalation needs, and service‑related troubleshooting in coordination with cross‑functional teams.
Manage end‑to‑end account opening activities, including documentation checks, onboarding coordination, and execution of account maintenance processes.
Oversee lifecycle events such as updates to client information, periodic reviews, account amendments, closures, and transactional formality requirements.
Support EAMs in preparing and validating client instructions, payments, asset transfers, loan disbursement forms, and other operational documentation.
Act as the Accountable Client Owner for AML/KYC‑related matters for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and high‑quality completion of KYC reviews with zero overdues.
Monitor ongoing client behaviour, with particular focus on third‑party transactions, unusual activity patterns, and adherence to expected account behaviour.
Maintain awareness of, and operate within, the applicable regulatory requirements, including confidentiality, data privacy, and cross‑border rules.
Support senior EAM RMs in identifying retention opportunities, cross‑sell opportunities, and risk‑mitigation measures—without direct origination focus.
Your skills and experience:
At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or EAM‑related client servicing roles.
Strong understanding of client lifecycle management, AML/KYC processes, regulatory obligations, and documentation requirements.
Relevant certifications such as CACS Paper 1 & 2 required
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage high‑touch servicing interactions with both EAMs and internal stakeholders.
Meticulous, organised, and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to coordinate across functional teams.
Fluent in English (written and oral)
