Role Description

  • We are seeking a Prospect Client Business Manager to execute and support overall prospect management activities for our PB division in Emerging Markets ensuring systematic identification, screening, qualification, tracking, and conversion of high-quality prospects.

  • The role will support in establishing and subsequently executing prospect management activities. The role will closely work with and support Regions, Markets, Relationship Managers (RMs) to operate a clear, structured process for managing the prospect pipeline.

  • The role will report into the Head of PB EM Strategy and Central Business Management and will work closely with the wider PB EM Strategy and Central Business Management team.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support execution of prospect management processes across Emerging Markets, ensuring consistent approach, definitions, and governance standards.

  • Perform activities like data mining across internal databases, external intelligence sources, referrals, events, and market signals to identify high‑potential prospects.

  • Perform systematic market intelligence to capture trends, liquidity events, ecosystem opportunities, and emerging wealth indicators

  • Perform preliminary screening and qualification of prospects based on criteria and scoring models to qualify prospects based on financial capacity, strategic fit, jurisdiction, risk, and product needs.

  • Perform gap analyses to uncover untapped markets, segments, and niche client pools.

  • Help establish a structured, transparent, and governance‑aligned prospect lifecycle, from screening to RM handover.

  • Work closely with Regions, Markets, Market Heads, Business Managers, and RMs to ensure consistent engagement and follow‑through.

  • Work closely with coverage teams to prioritize high‑potential growth segments and develop targeted prospecting and segmentation strategies.

  • Maintain high‑quality data integrity in prospect systems. Identify data issues, gaps, and bottlenecks and propose solutions.

  • Consolidate and map out key clients and potential white‑space opportunities by region, segment, or product interest areas.

  • Update and maintain accurate and timely prospect pipeline data, ensuring data integrity and quality.

  • Produce regular pipeline and engagement reports covering volumes, conversion, aging, and outcomes for management review.

  • Handle all client and prospect information with strict confidentiality, consistent with internal cross‑border and data governance expectations

Your skills and experience

  • 6+ years of overall experience with 3+ years of experience in relevant Business Development, or prospect/lead management within Wealth Management, Private Banking or Financial Services.

  • Prior experience in prospect lifecycle and management.

  • Understanding of wealth management, products, business models, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience in business or operations management within financial institutions.

  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and deliver against timelines.

  • Strong presentation and communication combined with a structured, analytical, and process‑oriented approach.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); comfort working with CRM or pipeline tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
