Join our team as a Privacy Program Manager. You’ll establish and improve privacy initiatives that help safeguard our Pinners and support Pinterest’s compliance with global privacy laws. You’ll work closely with teams across Pinterest, helping to embed privacy best practices into our products and culture and champion a privacy by design mindset.

What you’ll do:

Establish, maintain and evolve Pinterest’s privacy program, policies and practices
Conduct privacy risk assessments for new and existing features
Support teams on privacy-by-design, data minimization and responsible data use
Support privacy incident response: investigations, mitigation steps and regulatory notifications
Monitor compliance and develop audit plans to identify and fix gaps
Maintain data inventories and records of processing activities
Work cross-functional across Legal, Engineering, Security, Product and other teams to integrate privacy requirements
Support responses to regulatory inquiries, privacy audits and internal assessments
Support Commercial Legal team in reviewing and negotiating DPA terms with third-party processors

What we’re looking for:

Deep expertise in privacy and compliance or a related area, with strong knowledge of global privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA
Expertise in program management and working on cross-functional projects
Experience in technology or digital media environments
Strong communicator with experience in translating complex privacy risks to non-legal audiences
Committed to continued learning and growth in privacy and data protection
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Law, Business or Information Security, or equivalent experience
Professional privacy certifications (such as CIPP or CIPM) are a plus

We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our Dublin office.
