Printing Preparation Technician

We are looking for Printing Preparation Technician to join our beverage can factory in Hämeenlinna.

Printing Preparation Technician

In this position, you are responsible for ensuring accurate preparation of paint mixtures and printing plates to guarantee high-quality materials used in aluminum can printing processes.

Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare paint mixtures following established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Issue paint for production according to ERP-generated work orders and timelines.
  • Create and organize color swatches for reference and quality control purposes.
  • Conducts inspection of materials and finished product.
  • Monitor and verify paint stock levels to maintain adequate inventory for scheduled jobs.
  • Receive and process returned paint from production, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
  • Ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Maintain the area in accordance with 5S standards and Continuous Improvement methodologies. 

Our expectations:

  • Able to work physically on shifts, with good communication skills in the multicultural environment.
  • Good computer skills included MS Office.
  • Capability to work under the time pressure, with dynamically changing production plan.
  • Familiar with independent work but also a good team player.
  • Experience in preparing paints or offset plates is considered an advantage.
