Position Summary

Oversee mailroom operations to ensure efficient distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and parcels across the organization. Lead and mentor mail services staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement cost-effective mail service solutions. Maintain inventory of mailroom supplies and monitor related budgets. Ensure compliance with security protocols and privacy regulations for sensitive mail. Introduce and manage mailroom technologies (e.g., tracking systems, barcode scanners) to improve accuracy and efficiency. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a print or mailroom setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and PDF tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Successful completion of background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Experience operating:
    • Neopost/Pitney Bowes Class inserters
    • Xerox production-class printers
  • Prior experience in a similar leadership role

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree or specialized training preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
