Your Opportunity:
Venture Solutions Inc., a Taylor company, is seeking a 3rd Shift Print Operator to join our team in West Sacramento, CA. This role offers strong growth potential in a clean, well-lit, and safe production environment.
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Your Shift:
• Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. (3rd Shift)
Your Responsibilities:
• Review job orders to determine quantities, paper specifications, colors, and customer instructions
• Collect and inspect random samples during print runs and make necessary adjustments
• Run multiple digital print machines simultaneously
• Load and unload paper stock and set up print files for production
• Complete required production paperwork for each job
• Ensure materials are stocked and correct supplies are staged
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting
• Follow ISO 9001 quality and training expectations
• Meet required throughput speeds and quality standards
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following all procedures and regulations
You Must Have:
• 1+ year of digital print experience
• Basic computer skills (open, close, print files)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic measuring skills (ruler, measurement devices)
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure job accuracy
• Ability to stand for an entire shift (excluding breaks)
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule
We Would Also Prefer:
• Prior experience within a print or fast-paced production environment
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $21.00. The actual base rate depends on the applicant’s qualifications, experience, skills, and work location. The listed rate is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package.
