Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior practitioner on Digital Services engagements, with a focus on EHS&S Management Information Systems, developing strategies that align technology with client processes and regulatory needs
- Provide technical thought leadership and program oversight for complex, multi‑workstream initiatives, ensuring delivery against scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations
- Serve as a core member of the Digital Services technical leadership team, supporting EHS&S MIS software selection, system implementation, integrations, training, rollout, support, and continuous improvement
- Operate as a seller–doer, leading or contributing to technical proposals, identifying new opportunities, and expanding relationships with existing and new clients
- Support pre-sales team on RFP preparation with the client engagement, scope of work, timeline plan and high-level project plan.
- Evaluate EHS&S software systems available on the market, including assisting clients with system requirements and system selection. Provide advice on different EHS&S software systems in response to specific data, organizational and operational requirements.
- Leverage delivery excellence to generate repeat business and expand ERM’s market presence in Digital Services
- Lead, mentor, and inspire consultants and project teams, supporting performance, engagement, and professional growth
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Sphera Solutions methodology, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
- Engage in all life cycle stages of project execution; provide support and enhancement to Sphera platforms and solutions as required to meet the overall business objectives of clients.
- Analyze user requirements, prepare requirements document, as-is & to-be processes and identify gaps.
- Collaborate with clients to develop/refine implementation strategy and on-going testing needs.
- Prepare test plans, conduct testing validation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Assist with Sphera system configuration, integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and improvements.
- Lead consultant teams that configure/deploy Sphera EHS&S solutions; specific activities include publishing system design documents, configuring components within the solution, analyzing/migrating data, and specifying custom reports/dashboards and automated interfaces.
- Provide knowledge transfer enablement through formal documentation and end-user training. Engage in system support and training documentation teams, prepare and present training to internal consultants and client system users.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10-12+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, including leadership of complex digital or EHS&S initiatives
- Demonstrated experience delivering EHS&S Management Information Systems in client‑facing roles
- Proven ability to engage senior client stakeholders as a trusted advisor
- Strong experience supporting or leading business development and technical proposals
- Experience in implementation and use of Sphera solutions.
- Experience with a minimum of three full life-cycle implementations including all phases
- Strong Oil & Gas, Mining, and Chemical business and market knowledge
- Commercial acumen and drive – track record of customer relations, business development and proposal management
- Project delivery skills – track record of technical delivery success to scope and budget
- Experience leading multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams
Preferred
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
- Hands‑on experience with leading EHS&S platforms (e.g., Enablon, Sphera, Intelex, VelocityEHS, Benchmark ESG, or similar)
- Experience integrating EHS&S systems with enterprise platforms such as ERP, HR, operations, or analytics tools
- Track record of expanding strategic client accounts and driving sustained revenue growth
