We are seeking a Principal UX Designer with 12+ years of professional experience to provide strategic design leadership across our AI-powered cybersecurity platform. This role is for a design leader who combines deep craft expertise with systems thinking, product strategy, and influence at scale. You will help define the long-term UX vision, shape next-generation Agentic AI experiences, and raise the design bar across teams and products.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the cross-functional stakeholders such as product managers, engineers, and business leaders to drive UX strategy, innovation, and measurable business impact across the platform. Exposure to AI-powered design tools, generative ideation, intelligent prototyping, and emerging technologies such as AR/VR and conversational interfaces will be considered a strong advantage, enabling you to bring future-ready perspectives into our design process.
Responsibilities
User Research & Insights
- Lead, plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Synthesize research findings into strategic design directions.
- Champion data-informed design decisions, balancing user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints.
- Define success metrics and UX KPIs aligned to customer value and business outcomes.
Design Excellence
- Translate complex business goals, risk models, and AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences and mental models.
- Design and govern experience architectures spanning workflows, design systems, interaction patterns, and AI agent behaviors.
- Establish UX frameworks, principles, and standards that guide teams across products and platforms.
- Drive consistency across web, mobile, conversational, and emerging interaction paradigms.
- Envision and design human-centered experiences with measurable business impact for shaping the next-generation cybersecurity products.
- Lead and create information architecture, task flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Contribute to the evolution, maintenance, and scaling of enterprise design systems to ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility.
- Iterate designs rapidly based on user feedback, usability findings, and stakeholder inputs.
Strategic Innovation
- Define and evolve the end-to-end UX vision for AI-powered, enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
- Lead experience strategy across multiple products and modules, ensuring coherence, scalability, and usability.
- Shape the future of Agentic AI-driven workflows, decision intelligence, and autonomous assistance.
- Contribute to the future vision of AI-powered and agent-driven cybersecurity experiences.
- Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
- Stay ahead of industry, UX, and AI trends—bringing differentiated, forward-looking ideas into the product roadmap.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with product managers, engineers, QA, and business leaders throughout the product lifecycle to ensure design solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with product strategy.\
- Clearly articulate and advocate design decisions using strong storytelling, data, and design rationale.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, critiques, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
Leadership, Mentorship & Influence
- Act as a mentor and design leader for senior and mid-level designers, elevating craft quality and strategic thinking.
- Provide design direction, critique, and guidance across multiple teams and initiatives.
- Influence product and engineering leadership through clear storytelling, strong rationale, and outcome-driven design narratives.
- Contribute to building a strong design culture centered on excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Visual Communication or related field.
- 12+ years of professional UX design experience with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex enterprise software products.
- Significant experience designing enterprise B2B platforms, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or data-intensive domains.
- Demonstrated leadership in defining UX strategy, experience architecture, and cross-product consistency.
- Awareness or hands-on experience with emerging interaction paradigms such as Agentic AI, voice interfaces, and immersive experiences.
- Strong foundational knowledge of qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and usability testing tools.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows, generative tools, and emerging technologies (AR/VR, conversational UI) is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs translate into production.
- Working knowledge of global accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
