About the Role
Independent individual with very strong data analytics and automation skills to as to drive and implement transformational projects (with key business outcomes) as well as improve everyday processes in TD. Exercise judgement & discretion in decision-making on diverse work issues independently.
Responsibilities:
Analytics
- Analytical support based on business need, perform in-depth analysis to investigate a problem statement. Analysis needs to provide actionable insights and be presented with good storytelling.
- Development of new automated performance management tools based on the user requirements (Tableau, PowerApp, etc.). Enhance existing tools when necessary. Ensure data accuracy at all time and fix the data quickly when there is an issue. Perform and document all necessary user testing before go-live in production and ensure a review has been done by a team member.
- New Agent Excellence (NAC) Tribe team member – Data steward of the NAX Tribe. Provide regular automated reports based on the requirements of the tribe, and tribe leaders. Provide topical deeper analysis as per needed.
- SME within the team - Share and implement best practice with the team to ensure continuous improvement of the reporting accuracy, quality and speed. Mentor and coach junior team members performing data analytics projects.
Projects
- Project manager for TD data related projects (for example Career Aptitude Assessment, MOST)
- Perform project planning – user requirement, task planning, coordination with all stakeholders, ensure appropriate resource allocation (UI, Digital, IT, etc.) and establish budget.
- Project management – follow up with each project members to ensure task completion on time. Appropriate documentation of issues and progress.
- Communicate effectively on progress with key stakeholder (incl. CDO)
- Ensure deliverables meet initial user requirements and are delivered within deadlines and budget.
- Subject Matter Expert to work closely with Digital Team and IT Team.
BAU
- Reporting – Cover for monthly segmentation reporting and MOST reporting.
- Support BD Team and Task Forces as needed – Role anchored around developing automated reports and new tools to manage performance.
- Continuous internal process improvements with (iSMART Tableau Licensing management, iPAD Asset Management App, VBA email solution)
- Ensure solid control process with preparer and reviewer for every deliverables.
- Be a mentor and train additional Tableau Developers / Alteryx Designers in the Division
- Recognised as the enterprise role model/SME, collaborates at entity level.
Requirements:
- Strong business acumen skills with analytical curiosity with an eye for detail to make recommendations.
- Clear understanding on how to drive a sales force and the sales process for the tied distribution of an insurance
- Ability to see the big picture and understand how TD Sales Strategy can best contribute to Tied Distribution and AIA.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Alteryx
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Self-learner and hands on to trouble shoot and problem solve challenges.
- Proficient communications skills to effectively explain policies/challenges with Tied Distribution force and internal senior stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
