What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing systems.

You will:

Analyze validation requirements for Dell PowerEdge and AI servers, focusing on hardware and firmware integration validation.

Design and implement intelligent test automation using AI and agentic tools to accelerate validation cycles.

Develop test strategies and test cases for X86/ARM server platforms, ensuring robust coverage across hardware-firmware interactions.

Execute hands-on testing, configure systems, identify and report defects, and deliver detailed diagnostics.

Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance test coverage and improve product quality.

Utilize AI to extract insights from design specs and documentation, driving proactive validation and better customer outcomes.

Build and maintain automation tools for continuous and in-use testing

Essential Requirements

8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in hardware and firmware validation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality server products.

Skilled in developing test automation frameworks and exploring AI/agentic tools to enhance validation efficiency.

Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, and board-level hardware integration testing.

Deep understanding of x86 and ARM architectures, including validation of firmware components like BIOS, FPGA, and BMC.

Practical experience with industry-standard protocols such as I2C, IPMI, and Redfish for server management.

Proficient in server hardware, GPU-accelerated systems, and operating systems including RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows.
