Principal Systems Analyst - AVP - Listing Systems - IT - 3months contract

Job Summary:

The Listing Systems comprises of three sub teams; the External Systems team, Internal Systems team and the Data & Common Services team. They are responsible for the design and implementation of all of our applications systems for our Listing Division.

Job Duties:

The role is to develop and support web applications for our Listing Systems. You will have the opportunity to work with a group of talented technologists in delivering large scale, critical projects in a dynamic environment and a challenging timescale.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for system analysis and project implementation activities of Listing Web Application systems

• Collaborate with user divisions to collect business requirements

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the application design aligns with technical excellence and follow industry best practices

• Design and develop systems with modern technologies and compliance with organization policies and standards

• Produce project deliverables and perform quality review for application design (such as functional specifications, and design document)

• Perform quality review and execute system tests

• Conduct application development and deployment

• Carry out daily production support

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of web application system development within similar industry
• Good understanding of securities industry
• Strong development experience in Linux platform, Java, Web application, Cloud and Database technology, Rest API programming
• Strong skills of programming languages: Java, React JS, Next JS
• Experience in Event-driven micro-service, Cloud application, Containerized Architecture, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Redis
• Experience in DevOps framework and tools (e.g. Jira, Git, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Junit)
• Depended on project delivery and timelines, some weekends work is required
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. (Mandarin is an advantage)
