We are looking for a Principal System Test Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to VP Product Development – Testing, and is based in San Jose, CA.

Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CA

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work with test sponsors to develop system testing plans, outcome objectives and criteria for success.
  • Collect and analyze system testing data, working with system test sponsors and the data analytics team.
  • Provide live operational troubleshooting support during system testing.
  • Report test plan outcomes to the test sponsors and cross functionally in regular updates.
  • Support design of new testing infrastructure to facilitate new or complex system testing objectives.
  • Support system testing automation infrastructure development.
  • Facilitate witnessed/customer testing, coordinating outcomes, and data packaging.
  • International travel is occasionally required

Skills and Experience

The candidate must have a comprehensive technical understanding of Bloom Energy's products. These include demonstrated expertise in the following areas:

  • Thermal sciences
  • Electrochemical processes
  • Fluid dynamics
  • Power management
  • Control Strategies
  • Visualize complex data sets

Salary Ranges:

$151,700.00 - $218,300.00
