We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
The ideal candidate must be familiar with project management, budgeting, and resource management with the ability to communicate verbally, written, and have a presentation skillset.
Responsibilities include:
· Financial responsibilities including EAC’s, material sales material sales forecasting and cost account management (CAM) support
· Ability to present to internal and external decision-makers and represent Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain in Program Management Reviews, organization leadership briefings, customer briefings, and supplier engagement
· Ability to solve complex supply chain problems using established precedents and policies
· Identifying, documenting, and mitigating/realizing Risks and Opportunities
· Create and document supply and demand strategies in formal plans to achieve program goals and objectives
· Identify and address, critical material shortages to resolve or recover established program schedules and budgets
· Ability to prioritize efforts and adjust to quickly changing program needs and objectives
· Develop and document project plans to achieve program material objectives with consideration to overall business unit objectives, risks and opportunities
· Coordinate and optimize delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve program, business unit, and company goals and objectives
· Challenge and overcome obstacles to excellence and identify continuous improvement opportunities
· Represent GSC as a prime contact on program contracts or projects.
· Interact with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between 2 or more organizations
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years in Global Supply Chain and/or Project Management experience or related field, Master's Degree with a minimum of 6 years in Global Supply Chain and/or Project Management experience or related field; OR 10 years of Global Supply Chain and/or Project Management experience or related field, in lieu of degree.
· Project/Program Management or GSC Project Manager experience working on Aerospace and Defense programs
· Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
· Experience with Earned Value Managed programs
· Experience in EVMS, including CAM or direct CAM support responsibilities
· US citizenship is required
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government issued Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working on development and prototype based programs
· Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
· General understanding of Government procurement processes and regulations; FAR/DFAR
· Experience supporting complex proposal efforts
· Price Reasonableness Evaluation
· Commercial Item Determination
· Expert MS Excel capability including pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting
· Active Security Clearance
Primary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
