What You Will Do

• Provide contractual guidance to cross-functional partners to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies

• Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships

• Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development and negotiation of proposals, contractual agreements, and general contract administration

• Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly

• Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise

• Facilitate and ensure communication and coordination with the internal/external customer program team

• Adhere to and comply with standardized corporate procedures and compliance documentation

• Disseminate (“Flowdown”) customer contractual requirements within the organization

• Act as liaison between internal and external customers and respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

• Work autonomously with oversight

• Contract closeout activities including material and property dispositioning, patent reporting and final invoicing

What You Will Learn

• Take an active role in managing contracts and engaging directly with program leadership

• Exposure to business management reviews with leadership support such as quarterly EAC Reviews

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

• Experience in contracts management of U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)

• Experience preparing and negotiating Sole Source and Competitive Proposals

• Ability to consistently apply company policy and procedures governing all aspects of contract management and TINA compliance

• Ability to manage a high volume of contracts simultaneously ranging from large multi-year support programs to small repairs

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in contracts negotiations, execution and administration of various contracts aspects, including price, Statement of Work, terms and conditions

• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) requirements

• Understanding of financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification 

• Experience with direct engagement with external customers

• Experience with Contracts administration and negotiation of proposals and contracts of medium to high complexity

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. ​

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
