Deep Guidewire expertise is critical. Experience with Duck Creek, Insurity, Majesco, or other insurance platforms is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of enterprise-grade integration architectures for Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) that support secure, scalable digital payment and EBPP experiences.

  • Guide customers through modernization initiatives related to billing, payments, identity, and customer experience.
  • Establish and enforce architectural governance frameworks, design guardrails, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across implementations
  • Act as the final technical authority for complex or high-risk integrations, resolving architectural tradeoffs and escalations.
  • Ensure all integrations meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Product, Integration Engineering, and Implementation teams to size, scope, and plan enterprise-scale integration efforts.
  • Provide architectural oversight across multiple concurrent customer implementations.
  • Support accurate estimation, early risk identification, and delivery planning.
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve existing integration frameworks to improve scalability, performance, resiliency, and delivery efficiency.
  • Champion modern, cloud-native integration patterns, API-first design, automation, and AI-assisted tooling.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and reuse integrations across Guidewire and non-Guidewire platforms.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Guidewire integrations and enterprise EBPP architectures.
  • Mentor Senior Solutions Engineers and Integration Engineers through design reviews, best practices, and coaching.
  • Elevate the overall technical maturity and architectural rigor of the Solutions Architecture organization.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to insurers, partners, and Guidewire system integrators.
  • Clearly articulate complex technical solutions to executive, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships that support customer success, platform adoption, and scalable growth.

Education & Experience:

  • 12–15+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale SaaS solutions within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries
  • 10+ years in solutions architecture, enterprise integration, or technical consulting roles with demonstrated architectural ownership
  • Deep Guidewire expertise (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), including accelerators, data models, extension patterns, and integration frameworks
  • Proven experience designing, governing, and evolving enterprise-wide integration architectures
  • Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman and Kong
  • Extensive experience architecting public cloud-based solutions (Azure preferred)
