What you’ll achieve
We're looking for a Security Automation Engineer to help build the next generation of secure, automated systems. In this role, you'll be transforming how we manage security, by designing and implementing scalable automation that removes manual bottlenecks, increases efficiency, and strengthens our overall security posture. As a senior technical expert, you’ll work closely with teams across product security, DevOps, and IT to embed automation deep into our security and engineering workflows. You'll have the opportunity to build AI solutions to enhance threat detection, automate decision-making, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of security responses. Your work will help drive smarter, faster, and more proactive security outcomes, all powered by code. You will:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related tools.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using PKS (Pivotal Kubernetes Service) or Kubernetes.
Configure and maintain Linux-based systems for application hosting and automation.
Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
Develop and maintain GitLab Blueprints for standardized deployments.

Essential Requirements
8+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles with strong experience in Linux administration.
Hands-on experience with PKS/Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Expertise in Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab.
Experience with change management best practices in deployment and operational workflows.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
Desirable Requirements
Exposure to microservices architecture and container security
Experience with monitoring and alerting best practices.
