Role

The CIS Cluster Lead (Principal), part of Eastern Europe Division, Business Development for Services has the lead responsibility to drive the growth of business across all lines of Mastercard Services Business (Consulting Services, Insights and Analytics, Innovation Services , Marketing Services, Personalization, Loyalty and Security Solutions Office) for clients across the CIS cluster with HQ in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Primary responsibilities will include:
• Create the short and medium / long term strategy for driving growth in the region across different verticals (FI, merchant, fintech), markets and business lines, identify growth areas and drive business development in partnership with other teams
• Deliver against sales and revenue targets for the division, key markets and business lines
• Take a leading role in winning major Mastercard deal bids, including influencing RFP decisions and cross-selling Mastercard value-added services
• Capture key markets and key accounts implicit business needs in addition to articulated requests, and together with teams, create solutions to solve for these needs
• Build peer relationships and become trusted advisor of C-level executives of key clients across the CIS countries
• Create succinct, persuasive written materials tailored to executive management level
• Oversee project delivery through to successful completion for strategic accounts
• Contribute as a thought leader to the development of intellectual capital, point of views, articles, and blogs
• Lead professional development of team members and provide coaching

All About You
• Experience in top management consulting firms (Principal or higher) and/or in relevant industry
• Knowledge of payments market, trends and opportunities
• Experience in CIS markets, key trends and opportunities
• Ability to think from the perspective of the customer
• Demonstrates the ability to initiate, develop, and close a sale
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to gain consensus with others and coordinate team of consultants and subject matter experts around goal
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Proficiency in written and verbal Russian and English
• Bachelor’s and post-graduate degrees (MBA or other) from leading universities
