We are excited to announce that have recently been awarded The South Dade TransitWay Corridor (South Corridor) project, one of the six rapid transit corridors of the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan.  Our Principal Project Manager will have the opportunity to work on this project and be a key contributor to continuing our growth, specifically with Florida DOT District 4.

The Position:

We are looking for a seasoned Road & Highway Project Manager for our south Florida design group.  The successful candidate will play a key role in growing our business with Florida DOT.  Supported by our Florida and east coast road and highway engineering team, this project manager will be involved in business development activities and managing design projects upon award.  Our group has a base of business with local transportation agencies to support ongoing operations.

The job is in our Miami, FL office.  The right candidate could be hired as Roadway Group Manager.

Responsibilities:

You will provide direction and management for large-scale projects, as well as Alternative Delivery projects, and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.  Our Project Managers are responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.  You will plan and define program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; while developing an in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. 

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and at least 15 + years of related work experience is required. 

  • Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background, as well as previous project management experience on similar or related projects.

  • Florida PE required.

  • FDOT Experienced Project Manager, with a minimum of 15 years of experience delivering FDOT Major Design Projects (Roadway 3.2 or 3.3).

  • Experience with FDOT is required.  

  • Roadway Design Background required.

  • Design-Build Project Experience is not a requirement but is a major plus.

  • PD&E (FDOT Category 2.0) experience is not a requirement but desirable.

Salary Range: $176,900.00 - $332,400.00
