Responsibilities:
Serve as an Open Plan SME (Subject Matter Expert).
Drive earned value–compliant schedules across the organization.
Develop, maintain, and enforce SNC scheduling processes, procedures, and best practices.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful Open Plan integration with enterprise systems, including PM Compass, Cobra, and Empower.
Deliver targeted Open Plan training, role‑specific onboarding, and development of QRGs and learning content to support user adoption.
Perform schedule quality assessments such as DCMA 14‑Point Analysis and DECM.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across scheduling discipline.
Actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing expertise on scheduling and project management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree targeting Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, or a related field.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is required.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Must be proficient in Deltek Open Plan.
Proficient in Microsoft Project Professional.
Ability to proactively drive conversations and ask detailed questions.
Must have excellent follow-up/follow-through skills.
Comfortable collaborating with multi-faceted teams to drive issues to closure within your domain.
Ability to confidently communicate status to completion on workload, and raise roadblocks/issues to team for mitigation.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced proficiency with other PPM tools such as Cobra, PM Compass, Empower, and Acumen.
Deep knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and systems.
Comprehensive understanding of DCMA 14-point & IPMDAR DI_MGMT-81861.
In-depth knowledge of Mil Standard 881.
Expertise in applying Critical Path Analysis and Schedule Risk Analysis.
Advanced understanding of Schedule Performance and Health Metric Analysis.
Mastery in assembling and building Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Advanced understanding of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development.
Advanced understanding and experience in developing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Extensive experience in the development and maintenance of resource-loaded integrated master schedules, including detailed schedule analysis, rolling wave planning, health assessments, schedule risk assessments, and critical/driving path analysis.
Expert ability to facilitate resource leveling, validate remaining work, and identify and resolve critical path conflicts.
Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and teaching.
Willingness to support the development and delivery of key employee training, including new employee onboarding and continuous education curriculum.
Lead and mentor teams in the coordination, generation, and integration of Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) across multiple projects.
Conduct advanced analysis and provide strategic insights on schedule risks.
Develop high-level reports and presentations for executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
