As a Program Manager for the Indirect Procurement, you will be responsible in translating Global Procurement strategic objectives into program roadmaps to realize distinct and measurable benefits for the organization; especially focused on major capital construction and facilities operations initiatives. You will apply project management and organizational change management concepts while developing trusted partnerships with stakeholders to build support and collaboration, enabling successful project implementation. You will lead cross functional teams of leaders and individual contributors from in-scope category teams to achieve program execution through comprehensive project planning, stakeholder engagement and communication, proper management and escalation of risks, issues, and decisions, and reporting to drive accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Program/Project Management
- Translate strategic objectives into project plans and program roadmaps.
- Manage projects/programs from inception to sustainment, including defining objectives, executing plans, assessing risks, and ensuring goal achievement within budget and timelines.
- Drive accountability through clear definitions, communication, feedback, and effective project management.
- Use with AI and using it to automate processes and tools
- Help define and deliver Organizational Goals with metrics and supporting data.
- Engage with internal and external partners to meet the CHIPS program initiatives.
- Identify and manage risks, making informed decisions based on data.
- Establish methods for measuring and monitoring program performance, providing consolidated reporting for various stakeholders.

- Encourage and persuade others to adopt processes, systems, tools, or behaviors for successful program implementation.
- Utilize change management methods to increase adoption speed and capture program ROI.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, leveraging storytelling to engage and influence decisions, behaviors, or opinions.

- Cultivate trusted partnerships with stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Coordinate with program sponsors and collaborators to define problems, scope, progress measurements, timelines, and resources.

- Effectively manage conflicts throughout the program or project lifecycle.

- Apply procurement domain knowledge for capital construction and facilities operation.

You Are
- Well-versed in goal planning and program management methodologies, demonstrating a track record of successful implementation.

- Possesses a global perspective and maintains a positive attitude conducive to collaboration across different regions.
- Demonstrates a keen aptitude for business acumen and data fluency, leveraging insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Background in coordinating and tracking grants and working with governmental agencies is a plus.
- Exhibits leadership without authority, embracing an inclusive approach across geographical and organizational cultures to achieve mutual success for Micron.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or Procurement.
- 5-6+ years of hands-on experience in program management.
- Proven experience in program delivery, change management.
- Skilled in Power Automate, O365, SharePoint, Power BI, , MS Project, Visio, Agile/backlog management tools e.g. Azure, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Project Management Certification preferred
- SAP experience and Change Management Practitioner Certification (PROSCI) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
