The Opportunity
Today, artificial intelligence is driving a dramatic transformation in how insurance brokerages operate and serve clients. At HUB, we're evolving with our enterprise-wide AI deployment—and we're looking for a visionary product leader to help us scale this transformational technology across our 20,000-employee organization.
As Principal Product Owner over AI, you'll be the strategic owner of our AI product roadmap, responsible for turning pilot successes into enterprise-wide solutions that deliver measurable business impact. This isn't just about managing technology adoption—it's about building a collaborative innovation ecosystem that empowers divisions to solve problems together and positions HUB as the insurance industry's AI leader.
What You'll Do
Strategic Product Leadership
- Own the end-to-end AI product strategy and roadmap for HUB's Claude AI deployment across 40+ business units
- Define success metrics and ROI frameworks that demonstrate productivity gains and measurable business value
- Partner with business unit leaders to align AI initiatives with strategic business objectives
- Manage strategic relationships with Ai vendors to maximize partnership value and early access to innovations
- Scale AI adoption across strategic users while maintaining quality and governance
Champion Network & Collaboration Framework
- Recruit, onboard, and support division AI champions who serve as grassroots innovation leaders
- Design and facilitate monthly champion forums, working groups, and knowledge-sharing platforms
- Build a self-sustaining champion community with peer mentoring and best practice exchange
- Create structured collaboration frameworks that enable divisions to learn from each other and solve common problems
- Drive cross-functional coordination across divisions, ensuring consistent communication and shared learning
Enterprise Rollup Process
- Establish clear criteria and governance for promoting division solutions to enterprise-wide deployment
- Identify high-impact division solutions annually for enterprise scaling (underwriting, claims, customer service)
- Create repeatable processes for evaluating, standardizing, and deploying successful division pilots across HUB
- Build enterprise solution portfolio with proven workflows scaled company-wide
- Drive faster scaling through standardized rollup vs. division-by-division rebuilding
Product Delivery & Innovation
- Lead agile product cross-department development cycles with clear prioritization and delivery frameworks
- Launch high-impact AI workflows across operations
- Build AI capability maturity model and assessment framework for divisions
- Establish Centers of Excellence in key business units with champion leadership
- Pilot AI integrations with core systems (Epic, NetSuite, Salesforce)
- Develop proprietary AI workflows that provide competitive advantage
Measurement & Value Realization
- Implement comprehensive dashboards tracking adoption, productivity gains, and solution sharing metrics
- Conduct regular ROI analysis demonstrating value of annual AI investment
- Report progress to executive leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations
- Build AI skills taxonomy and training programs to enhance organizational capability
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product leadership experience in enterprise SaaS, AI/ML, or technology products
- Proven track record scaling technology adoption across organizations with 10,000+ employees
- Experience building and managing champion networks, collaboration frameworks, or community programs
- Deep understanding of federated innovation models and enterprise solution rollup processes
- Background in Agile product management with demonstrated success managing product backlogs and roadmaps
- Strong executive presence and ability to partner effectively with C-suite and business unit leaders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with generative AI technologies and LLM applications
- Background in change management and organizational transformation initiatives
- Experience with product analytics tools and data-driven decision making
- Knowledge of insurance brokerage operations (underwriting, claims, customer service)
- Track record delivering measurable ROI and business impact from technology investments

- Competitive base salary: $185,000 - $210,000, commensurate with experience
