The Percipio integrations team is instrumental in driving the future of learning experiences. The Principal product manager is a highly distinguished role, who will drive the strategy, development, and adoption of our integration ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of our platform, our partners' needs, and the overall market landscape to deliver seamless and high-value integrated experiences for our customers. The Principal Product Manager will report to Senior manager, Product Management .
Skillsoft is currently seeking a highly qualified Principal Product Manager to join the Percipipo Integrations Team . The Product Manager is responsible for owning the stratergy and vision of their vertical, driving and managing product releases based on the needs of customers and the business. This includes managing vendors and partners, providing guidance on product dependencies, prioritizing needs, and making tradeoff decisions that impact releases. The Product Manager is responsible for defining the scope of present and future integrations and will work closely with vendors, Engineering, Quality Assurance, User Experience Design, Marketing Communications, Sales, Customer Support and Consulting Technical Services departments.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS and Key RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integrations Strategy & Vision:
Own and champion the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for our entire suite of platform integrations (inbound), ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy and business goals.
Collaborate with leadership and cross functional teams to build a comprehensive, high-impact integration product strategy that expands market reach and improves customer retention.
Product Development & Execution:
Actively manage and maintain the integration product roadmap, backlog of epics and user stories, and feature definitions, prioritizing work based on strategic value and business impact.
Research, document, and drive changes to our integration framework and core APIs, including new partnership capabilities, major platform enhancements, and core defect resolution.
Go-to-Market & Partnership Enablement:
Work closely with Business Development/Partnerships to evaluate new integration opportunities, define technical requirements for partner certification, and build a framework for successful integration launches.
Contribute to and review detailed product release notes, user manuals, and technical training material specifically for integration partners and technical sales teams.
Support product release activities including release planning, technical product training, in-depth partner demonstrations, and high-stakes customer presentations.
Market Analysis & Cross-Functional Leadership:
Conduct in-depth market research and detailed competitive analysis of the integration landscape, identifying gaps and opportunities to establish market leadership.
Provide on-going, high-level product support and technical guidance to direct sales, solutions engineering, and channel sales organizations, helping them articulate the value and key benefits of our integration capabilities to enterprise customers.
Collaborate with User Experience Designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience for customers managing their integrations within our platform.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in in Product Management focused on B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years directly managing APIs, platform services, or third-party integrations (e.g., app marketplaces, partner ecosystems).
Ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Technical Fluency: Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss complex technical issues, including API design (REST/GraphQL), security protocols (OAuth 2.0), and event-driven architecture.
Proven experience leading the product lifecycle for multiple, high-impact products or features simultaneously with a dedicated engineering team.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Experience with JIRA, Confluence or other Agile software development tools is desired
Experience working with virtual teams is desired
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
Master’s degree in Business Management
Direct experience defining product requirements for designing cutting-edge AI based products
Knowledge of vector databases, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) integration patterns, or specialized AI/ML inference APIs is a strong asset.
