The Role

SoFi is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead Membership/Rewards and loyalty initiatives, including SoFi Plus. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for defining the "why" and "how" of our premium membership programs and ensuring that SoFi Plus becomes a primary driver of value for SoFi Members.

You will own the strategy for how we package, communicate, and deliver incremental value across the SoFi ecosystem. This is not just about managing a feature; it is about crafting a world-class membership experience that drives deep loyalty and multi-product adoption. You will collaborate across all levels of the organization to bridge the gap between ambitious business goals and delightful member experiences. As a senior leader, you will be expected to inspire with a bold vision, set the standard for product excellence, and be the primary advocate for the member journey within SoFi Plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the multi-year product vision for SoFi Plus, including identifying new benefits that inspire Members to adopt and utilize Plus.
  • Own the end-to-end membership journey, from initial discovery and enrollment to long-term retention and "wow" moments.
  • Collaborate with leaders across Money, Invest, Credit Card, and Lending to curate a unified suite of benefits that feels like a cohesive, premium ecosystem rather than a collection of offers.
  • Create, communicate, and socialize a high-fidelity product roadmap that aligns executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams around the future of membership.
  • Work closely with Design and Research to understand member needs and translate those insights into innovative solutions that solve real financial pain-points.
  • Oversee the documentation and processes that ensure that every launch meets our high bar for product quality and member impact.
  • Define the North Star metrics for Membership success; monitor performance and iterate rapidly based on data-driven insights.
  • Partner with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while delivering a seamless, "no-brainer" value proposition to our Members.

What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of scaling membership, subscription, or loyalty programs at a significant scale.
  • The ability to see the "big picture" and understand how various financial products can be woven together to create a 1+1=3 value proposition.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and lead through ambiguity.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to model the impact of membership benefits on a variety of metrics (e.g., long-term value, acquisition costs).
  • A passion for building products that don't just work, but genuinely improve the financial lives of our members.
