As a Product Manager at Micron Technology, Inc. in the Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU), you will be charged with driving execution of the products in high bandwidth memory (HBM) portfolio that will position Micron for success in growing the Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) business segments. You will be working on innovative technologies to enable next generation high bandwidth memory (HBM) products and drive customer focused innovation.

You will lead a cross-functional team of key representatives from multiple engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the execution of product is aligned to spec within a specific timeline and budget! You will assist the Product Management team in defining the strategy and vision of the product portfolio and drive the execution focused Stage Gates when vital.

Ideal candidates are ambitious leaders with a strong Business plus Engineering background and analytical abilities who “own” all aspects of the execution and possess good communication skills to drive the cross functional team towards the business goals. Products managers in this role will be self-starters with a can-do attitude who can apply their critical thinking ability to drive the best possible outcome!

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Manager Lead by managing assigned tasks, expanding product management knowledge, and facilitating key processes.

  • Drive product execution meetings to report status, identify risks, and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Organize and lead cross-functional workshops on product strategy, requirements, and roadmap alignment.

  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), business term sheets, and other customer-facing documents for high-performance memory products.

  • Represent the Product Management team in Product Development Team meetings, ensuring product specifications and business needs are accurately communicated.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred) with 10+ years of combined experience in product development or engineering within semiconductor or computing systems.

  • Strong business insight and proven ability to manage complex technical projects.

  • Demonstrated experience writing marketing requirements documents for semiconductor products, translating technical and customer needs into clear features and benefits.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a high level of motivation.

  • Proven track record to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple global sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with DRAM products and current DRAM technology trends; HBM experience highly desirable.

  • Experience in building and optimizing business cases, including cost analysis, ROI, and opportunity assessments.

  • Ability to maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market requirements, and technology trends to guide product portfolio development.

  • Skilled in competitive analysis and maintaining performance metrics databases for high-performance memory products.

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

    The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

    $141,000.00 - $319,000.00

    Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
