As the Principal Product Manager for the AI Platform, you will lead the execution and operational strategy for a high-impact capability that empowers business professionals to make faster, more confident decisions. This role involves tackling the complex challenges of delivering trusted AI at scale.
You will operate with autonomy to shape the future of our AI capabilities, driving significant business value and influencing strategy across multiple teams. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating high-level vision into concrete technical roadmaps and rigorous quality frameworks.
This role reports to the VP of PM for Platforms.
Manage the roadmap, navigating ambiguity to prioritize features delivering the highest business value and trust.
Act as the primary translator between engineering and stakeholders, ensuring higher level priorities are effectively translated into technical requirements.
Define product logic for accuracy and verifiability, determining how the platform retrieves, synthesizes, and cites information to meet rigorous professional standards.
Own system prompt strategy to ensure AI outputs align with professional expectations, delivering structured, critical analysis rather than generic summaries.
Build and manage a robust evaluation framework bridging human expertise with automated metrics to validate AI performance against domain expert standards.
Lead continuous model testing and retrieval strategy optimization, using data-driven metrics like hallucination rates to improve the platform engine.
10+ years of experience in product management, with a significant track record in a leadership capacity focused on complex technical products.
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, defining strategy and execution plans for high-impact product areas where the solution is not immediately obvious.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and translate complex technical concepts into clear product logic and requirements.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience bridging the gap between engineering teams and non-technical business or domain experts.
Analytical rigor, with the ability to define decision processes for project prioritization and assess feature effectiveness using data.
Experience building or managing AI/ML products, search algorithms, or personalization engines is a plus.
Familiarity with evaluation workflows (e.g., A/B testing, quality assurance loops, or RAG evaluation) is a plus.
