Principal Product Applications Engineer

About the Role
As a member of ADIs Advanced Consumer Power team, you will spearhead next-generation power solutions and define system-level architectures for flagship consumer electronics. Partnering with global technology leaders, you will drive the complete product life cycle from concept to mass production for our core IC portfolio, including DC/DC conversion, PMICs, and discrete charging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Definition & Strategy: Lead the definition and roadmap of next-generation power products by translating complex customer requirements into technical specifications.
  • Technical Project Leadership: Direct the technical end-to-end development to ensure all performance targets and milestones are met.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as the technical bridge between IC design, business, and field teams to guide high-level system architecture.
  • Customer & Market Intelligence: Maintain deep-level expertise in customer systems and market trends to anticipate future application needs in smartphones, AR/VR, and wearable technology.
  • Technical Authority & Command: Serve as the project's technical authority, directing teams through complex engineering challenges
  • Advanced Documentation: Author high-impact data sheets, application notes, and strategic technical documents for global publication and customer influence.
  • Business Impact: Partner with executive leadership to identify and secure major business opportunities and design-wins with global key accounts.


Must Have Skills, Preferred Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

  • Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in analog/power electronics, with a proven track record of bringing high-volume consumer products to market.

  • Domain Expertise: Expert-level understanding of system-level power architecture and advanced power conversion topologies for Smartphones, AR/VR devices, and high-performance consumer electronics.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in hardware/firmware co-design and system-level modeling.
