Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Advanced Technology (AT) Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) team supporting a portfolio of programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.
In this role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll execute the Program material strategy to ensure execution from the front end of the business through contract closure.
This position supports product development efforts and requires the candidate to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment where the balance between strategic and tactical Supply Chain execution are key contributors to overall program success.
What You Will Do
Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management using Material Request Forms (MRF) and/or Master Scheduling Authorization Tool (MSALT)
Coordinating purchase requirements with Engineering, Program Operations Management, and Production Control Planning and Scheduling
Understand, track and report material sales performance against forecasts
Develop and execute a Material Program Plan (MPP) and Supplier Management Plans (SMPs)
Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes
Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and initiating Material Contract Briefs (MCBs) with required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs)
Track timely creation and release of material requirements from PR to PO release
Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure on-time supplier performance
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
Experience with US Government contractual requirements, including applicable FAR, DFARS flow downs.
Experience with Supply Chain, Operations, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
Prior work experience with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, PowerPoint, and/or Excel including Pivot Tables)
Qualifications We Prefer
Supply chain management experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry
Prior work experience with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel/Pivot Tables)
Excellent communication and reporting skills and experience leading and/or participating in cross functional teams
Good financial acumen, including management of budgets and forecasts

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
