Position Overview:
Enterprise Infrastructure & Technology Platforms (EITP) organization at McKesson provides the core technology foundation that enables McKesson to advance health outcomes for all. The team delivers secure, scalable, and reliable services across these key areas: network and telecom, core infrastructure and cloud platforms, digital workplace solutions, and client technology solutions. These capabilities enable business agility, operational excellence, and seamless user experiences across the enterprise.
The Strategy Enablement Leader will be responsible for driving long-term value, capability maturity, and operational excellence by leading the business operations and enabling EITP's strategy. This role will be a key leader within the Project Delivery & Strategy Enablement (PDSE) team who will work across EITP Service Categories, Finance, Sourcing, and HR to ensure operational and strategic alignment.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
Define and evolve PDSE strategy, service catalog, and maturity models.
Lead roadmap reviews, KPI reviews, and strategy sessions to maintain relevance and agility.
Drive transformation initiatives and capability uplift across PMO disciplines.
Business Operations Governance
Oversee financial management standards (forecasting, accruals, PO lifecycle).
Ensure resource capacity planning and OSW processes meet governance requirements.
Standardize contract management practices and vendor engagement workflows.
Integrate operational KPIs into PDSE scorecards and dashboards
Change Management & Communications
Develop organizational change strategies and communication plans for transformation initiatives.
Develop external engagement and communication channels with other Service Areas and Business Units
Engage senior stakeholders to ensure adoption and benefits realization.
Thought Leadership
Act as an internal expert and coach for best practices, templates, and delivery frameworks within EITP.
Influence enterprise decision-making and represent PDSE in strategic forums.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 13+ years, with 8+ years, of direct work related experience
Critical Skills
Typically 13+ years of IT project/program management experience, including 8+ years in complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Proven ability to lead strategy development, transformation programs, change management, and capability maturity efforts.
Expertise in stakeholder management, operational governance, and benefits realization.
Expertise driving transformation and initiatives
Experience with organizational change management and strategy enterprise wide for a large organization
Leading multiple teams to drive results
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with Planview, Power BI, and enterprise portfolio tools.
Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement certifications.
Strong executive presence and ability to influence at VP level.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred) OR equivalent experience.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
