Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal I, DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Health Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure DevOps Pipelines, Argo CD, Helm charts, and deployment across multiple environments. This role requires strong collaboration with architects and technical leads to design and implement scalable, secure, and automated solutions. You will be responsible for driving CI/CD strategy, enabling efficient deployments, building observability dashboards, and ensuring system reliability. Experience in healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HITECH, SOC 2) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate software delivery.
- Deployment Automation: Implement deployment strategies across multiple environments leveraging Argo CD and Helm charts.
- Monitoring & Observability: Develop and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. Create DataDog dashboards to provide actionable insights into system health and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance with healthcare standards. Automate security checks and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaboration: Partner with architects, tech leads, development, QA, and product teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the SDLC.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize system performance and cost efficiency.
- Incident Response: Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis during production incidents.
- Handover to Prod Ops: Ensure smooth transition of deployments and operational readiness to Production Operations teams.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, processes, and deployment workflows.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS and familiarity with multi-cloud strategies.
- CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Automation & Scripting: Skilled in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
- GitOps Tools: Familiarity with Argo CD for declarative deployments.
- Monitoring Tools: Expertise in DataDog dashboards, plus experience with New Relic or ELK Stack.
- Security: Strong understanding of cloud security and healthcare compliance.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications: AWS DevOps, Kubernetes Administrator, or similar certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases in cloud setups.
- Exposure to serverless architectures.
Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
