WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike Global Security seeks an ambitious, experienced, and organized professional to lead Global Security Reporting. As the Principle of Global Security Reporting, you will have the opportunity to employ your exceptional analytical, written, and communication skills to support cross-functional work-streams helping to protect Nike’s people, products, and property, and empower sports biggest moments.   This role will incorporate metrics and change management controls with data based inputs to socialize needs, changes, and areas of focus with stakeholders. Your abilities to create financial, operational, and data-based risk frameworks will enable the success of both the Global Security team and the company more broadly.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

You will help lead and develop the data reporting structure to drive functional improvements that are measured and captured with data within Global Security. In this role you will:

  • Develop KPIs and metrics to inform and influence enterprise decision making at the highest levels, and help reduce risk to Nike’s people, products, and properties.  

  • Develops transition management strategy based on strategic planning initiatives.

  • Create tracking mechanisms for risk, financial, project, and stakeholder impact work-streams to measure effectiveness of security measures based on metrics and KPIs.

  • Utilizing tracking mechanisms developed, this role will inform leadership on how to drive improvements in security measuring the success of deployments with KPIs and data.

  • Employ your analytical expertise and project/program management skills to grow our capabilities in areas such as Know Your Move, workplace violence, event management, incident reporting, security operations center adjustements

  • Innovate on the technologies and reporting platforms our team uses today and keep a pulse on those used throughout the industry to ensure Nike maintains a competitive advantage.

  • Facilitate the transition of key metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms into actionable dashboards, designing workflows that can be operationalized within a 24/7/365 environment and accessed at any time for decision making

  • Deliver qualitative and quantitative risk/threat assessments utilizing internal and external risk management tools, providing visibility to known or emerging trends and risks and determining where investments are made, affecting a constantly evolving corporate landscape. 

  • Approach existing and new lines of work through the lens of both program lead and experienced analyst.

  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholder teams and within the Nike matrix to understand where controls exist and where they must be created. 

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

In this role you will report to the Director of Global Security Governance & Modernization and work cross functionally, utilizing exceptional communication skills to inform discussions on strategic decisions.  These decisions will impact critical enterprise programs including but not limited to Global Safety and Security, Global Intelligence, Loss Prevention, Global Investigations, Business Continuity, Global Communications, Legal, Human Resources and Technology.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education,  experience or training

  • 5+ years relevant, professional experience in analytical and/or research role in any of the following or related fields: business operations, protective intelligence, security operations, corporate communications, and/or investigations. 

  • 2+ years leadership experience in relevant field.

  • Transition/project management experience.

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and shift between priorities.

  • Project/Program management experience is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of quantitative analysis and data-driven communications.
